The Astrology Association of NSW Inc invites you to the next AANSW workshop.
Please come and join us at the October meeting for a special online only workshop with Gregory Clare.
It will be an opportunity to discover how astronomical concepts deepen understanding of astrological archetypes and their modifications within the cosmic order. Topics covered will include:
Archetypes
Fundamental qualities explained through key concepts and vocabulary.
Celestial Equator
Understanding declination, parallels, contra-parallels, and Out of Bounds, and their influence on how celestial bodies appear from Earth.
Ecliptic & Lunar Path
Explore the Dragon’s Path, lunar latitude, and nodes:
Lunar Modification
How the Moon’s ecliptic latitude and declination alter archetypes, considering Earth’s axial tilt and the Moon’s orbital inclination.
Archaeological evidence suggests that Astronomy is one of the first natural sciences developed by early civilisations. Observations of
celestial bodies were the best tool to track time, which was essential for agriculture, religious rituals, and navigation.
First Nations people here in the Great Southern Land observed the sky over long periods and, in doing so, developed multifaceted knowledge relating to stars, planets, and other celestial
objects. These are not just astronomical observations but are interwoven with cultural beliefs, social structures, and storytelling-songlines.
